ABOUT ME |
|
I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, in 1982. I graduated from Sogang University and did a double major in chemical engineering and business administration. Since I entered the graduate course, I have been studying nanoscience and nanotechnology. I am interested in understanding the characteristics and function of materials, and my primary concern is taking the benefits of nano-sized materials and/or biomimetic mechanisms to overcome the limits of conventional technologies.
Besides my educational and research backgrounds, I'm interested in writing novellas and novelettes, reading books, listening to music, watching movies and musicals, collecting writing instruments, and designing illustrations and infographics. Also, I am a science fiction fanboy, comedy aficionado, and jazz enthusiast. As a would-be writer, I have written novelettes and short stories for over two decades; one of my dreams is to publish short stories in great literary magazines like The New Yorker and The Atlantic.
